Mrs. Fahrenheit and the Loverboys is Columbus's only Queen tribute band. We started forming in Feb. 2007. After a year and a half of trying different members out and finding the perfect group of musicians, we have finally found our group. FLEX CREW-
Flex Crew's sound effects kill the pain of everyday angst like a morphine drip, with a consciousness-altering power. The sextet's power-packed reggae melds the tropical calypso roots of traditional reggae -- marked by that characteristic chord on the upbeat -- with the more militant brand, sometimes referred to as "rockers," that borrows from hip-hop, jazz, funk and rap. The result is a hard hittin' cosmopolitan strain of groove-dominated reggae. Flex Crew's mastermind, drummer/percussionist Troy "Daddy Troy" Jones, has performed with internationally known acts Identity, Steele Pulse, Michael Rose and Earl Zero. He was also the touring drummer Don Carlos of Black Uhuru fame.
